Wow, it’s me again

Life seems to keep me so busy, can you believe I forgot I had a blog!!
Well I know Farrah will laugh at that! haha
My summer has been a crazy one. Not a normal life thats for sure, but who said being a missionaries wife would be normal! To add to it, I am married to Terry McFarland, that should have been my first indication that normal would never happen again. Those who know him know this is so ture!!! hahaha He makes life FUN!! And the need for happy times and lots of laughs is my american dream. When my children laugh, I am happy. And when my husband smiles at me I feel like I am 15 again. Who needs to spend money when you have laughter.

Watching My World

Did you ever feel you where watching but NOT participating. These days I feel like I am doing just that. I have heard those stories of people who have had close cuts and said their life passed before their eyes…well this is exactly what I am feeling right now. Weird, but also enlighting. I guess this is what most call “taking a good look at my life”. So what do I see. I see NEED! The need to take it up a notch. I see that I am NOT living up to my potential. God has given me all I need to accomplish His will in my life and I am the one who does NOT use it. So this is my promise to myself in front of all the world. GET UP AND DO WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN GIFTED TO DO!!! Stop being frozen in your tracks by the thought of “I don”t know how” or “I am not good enough”. If I don’t know how I have lots of resource at my finger tips to figure out how and I will never be good enough if I don’t try!!!

New Blogging Abilities

Good Morning Farrah! and everyone else 🙂
Well, here goes. I’m going to try my hand at blogging now. Farrah (one of our AIMers) has been impatiently waiting for this day.

We’ve sent out our July newsletter today. If you didn’t get it – let us know and we’ll add you to the e-mailing list. This entry is going to be short and sweet. I’ve worked all day long on newsletters and mailing lists and all the lovely paperwork that goes along with being a missionary. Not glamorous but necessary.

Highlights of our newsletter: Pastoring a new work, dancing in a dance studio, and the impressive duplication of congregations. Trick mirrors may have played a role. Want more? Look at the newsletter.

The day is done. I’m done. Shawna’s done (the other Shawna!) We’re all just done.
